WALSH—O’MALLEY. I A very pretty wedding celebrated on the morning of Tuesciay, October 24, was that. 01 Mollie, only daughter ■of Mr. and Mrs. D. F. O’Malley, vvaniganui, and Leo Celistine Paxton, only |son of Mrs. V. Walsh, and the late Mr. James Walsh, of Winton. The Rev. Father Out! rim performed ithe ceremony at St. Mary’s Church, 'Wanganui. A filmy creme tulle veil | was heid in place with a high coronet of pearls. Clasped round her neck i w as a lovely necklace of Ciro pearls, ithe gift of the bride's parents. An 'arm sheaf of deep creme roses, [freezias and lily of the valley, provided the finishing touch. i The bridesmaid, Miss Kura ColtIman, of Wellington, cousin of the bride, wore a becoming frock of for-get-me-not blue Broderie Anglaise and matching Juliet cap. Her arm sheaf of deep pink roses toned in beautifully with her blue frock. Mr. J. D. Gordon was best man, and Mr. L. R. Benefield acted as usher at the j church. | After the ceremony a reception was (held at the Rutland Hotel, where pink | roses and cherry blossom made their I contribution to the festive occasion. The guests were received by the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. O'Malley, assisted by Mrs. Walsh, mother of the bridegroom. Mrs. O'Maliy wore a smart black sheer ensemble with [matching straw hat and with cluster [of flowers in clover tonings and skunk ! stole. She held a posy of pink roses and stock. Mrs. Walsh was attired in la model suit in clover shade with navy [blue hat and accessories. A posy of [creme roses and carnations was carried. Mr. and Mrs. Allwright sang (during the reception. , When the bride and bridegroom left I on their honeymoon, they were given ■ comingiy attired for travelling in a ’ navy sheer frock, smart navy hat and 'red fox furs.
