26 MORE MARRIAGES
IN WANGANUI THIS YEAR FEWER BIRTHS AND DEATHS Nine fewer births, 21 fewer deaths, and 26 more marriages are revealed in the Wanganui vital statistics for the 10 months of this year as compared with the same period of last year. The total figures for 1939 to date are 475 births, 278 deaths and 272 marriages. There were ten more births last month than there were in October of last year, 13 more deaths and 17 more marriages.
