COMPOUND FRACTURE OF LEG

INJURY TO MOTOR-CYCLIST DRAGEED 80 FEET WHEN MACHINE OVERTURNS. AUCKLAND. Oct. 31. A compound fracture of the left leg and cuts on the head were suffered by a motor-cyclist. Mr. William Douglas. married, labourer, aged 29, 25 Coronation Road. Papatoetoe, when his machine capsized on the main road in Papatoetoe. The rider was dragged for about 80 feel with his left foot pinned under the machine. After receiving attention from Dr. J. Valentine, Papatoetoe. Mr. Douglas was taken to Auckland Hospital in a St. John Ambulance. His condition is serious but improving.
