■ RAXGITIKEI LADIES’ GOLF CLUB j The closing day of the Rangitikei Ladies’ Golf Club was held on Thursday. October 26. Play was somewhat marred by rain, but a pleasant afternoon was ‘ enjoyed by all present. Trophies won during the season were presented by the captain, the list being as follows: L.G.U. Silver Medal.—Miss McKenzie. L.G.U. Bronze Medal.—Mrs. Last Harris. Spoons for Medal bays.—Miss Kil-gour-Carter (2), and Miss Willis, Mrs. Collier. Mrs. Carter, Mrs. Last Harris, Mrs. W. Pearce and Mrs. Russell, 1 each. Senior Eclectic (Mrs. D. Wilson’s trophy).—Miss Field. Junior eclectic, Mrs. 11. Pearce. Two best scores in August (by players in 12-hole competition; Miss Willis' trophy). —Miss Field. Stroke competitions. A, B, and C (Mrs. Anderson's trophy).—Miss Kil-gour-Carter; D, E, and F (Mrs. Dalrymple’s trophy).—Mrs. Hendry; G, H, and I (Mrs. McDonell’s trophy), Mrs. Last Harris.
