SERMJ) WITH ORIENT LINE I I Trie managers of the Orient Line ■ announce the retirement of Captain F. R. O’Sullevan, who has held com- ;.. (.< in their steamers since April, 1919. Captain O’Sullevan, whose early nautical training was gained on H.M.S. Conway, later served in tramp steamers, and entered service of thOrient Line as fourth officer in the Ormuz in March. 1908. He served through the Great War in H.M.S. Otranto, which vessel was at th? Battle of Coronei and later visited Sydney to refit. His first voyage to Australia after the war was in s.s. Friedricharuh, which steamer brought troops oack to this country. The Orient liners under Captain O'Sullevan’s command were Ormuz. Ctvieto, Otranto, Orontes, and Orcades. His last, visit to Australia in lhe latter was February. 19.39.
