WANGANUI CITY WILL FINB SUM OF £30,090
Ever since February. 1934, when the Wanganui City Council converted the bulk of its loan indebtedness, November 1 has become an important day in the records of the city exchequer. To-day the council wifi find £30,000 in redemption of debentures. In 19.34 the council converted loan monies amounting to £634,000 and. by way of sinking funds and interest, on sinking funds accrued since then, It has been able to pay off £122.500. an average of approximately £20,409 each November 1 from the years 1931 to 1939, inclusive
