The stewards to-day concluded the inquiry into Beau Vite’s fall on Saturday at Moonee Valley and suspended Gold Salute’s rider, F. Shean, for two months for crossing. This will necessitate new riders for Gold Salute in the V.R.C. Derby and Catalogue in the Melbourne Cup. RIDER FOR BEAU VITE DERBY AND MELBOURNE CUP Received Oct. 30, 10.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, Oct. 30. The Siegfried colt Wilson, who suffered soreness last week, moved freely at Caulfield to-day W. Cook will be out of the saddle for a few days as a result of Saturday's fall but will be all right to ride Beau Vite in the Derby and Melbourne Cup. M. McCarten will probably. ride Feminist in the Cup.
