OBITUARY
MRS. E. T. FEIST The death has occurred of Mrs. Isabella Tudehope Feist, of Waipuna, Brunswick, widow of the late Mr. Egbert Feist, of Lower Hutt, in her 56th. year. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reid, she came to New Zealand from Scotland with her parents in 1908 and after her marriage Jived in the Hutt district until the death of her husband. Mrs. Feist’s mother predeceased her several weeks ago. A short service was held at tne Westmere Presbyterian Church on Saturday morning by the Rev. A. T. Norrie assisted by the Rev. G. W. Hercus, of Fordell. There was a large attendance including the Rev. A. C. McLean, ot Wanganui, the Rev. W. Lambert of the Westmere Anglican Church and representatives of tlie Women’s Institute, of which the late Mrs, Feist was a former president. The chief mourners al the service were her two children, Mr. Egbert Feist and Miss Robina Feist, and her sisters, Mesdames W. and R. Ross, of Brunswick. AnotlW sister, Mrs. Barton, wife of the Rev. Fraser Barton, of Gore, was unable to be present. Alter tile service the casket was taken to the Taita Cemetery at Upper Hutt, where the interment took place.
A memorial service for Mrs. Feist will be held in the Brunswick Hall next Sunday.
