COSMOPOLITAN BOW!.,ING CLUB

NEW GREI N TO BE OPENED ON SATURDAY. The Cosmopolitan Bowling Club will officially open its new green on Saturday next at 2 p.m. The green is looking in first-class order, and providing the weather is favourable in the meantime it should play well. The green, having only been down a few months will have to be nursed for a while, and it would be a great help if leads and twos would retire to the bank after having played. The club, having affiliated with the Wanganui Centre, intend to participate in all the centre competitions, and members are looking forward to a successful season.
