DIVIDEND 3 I’ER CENT. WAIHI INVESTMENTS AND EXPLORATION, LTD. AUCKLAND, Oct. 28. Advice has been received from London that the directors of Waihi Investments and Exploration Ltd. will recommend to the annual meeting a dividend of 3 per cent, less English ini' come tax at 7s in the 11. The meet--1 ing will be held on November 16 and the dixidend will be payable on NoI vember 17 on all shares registered as •at October 31. The accounts show that for the year ended September 30 profits were £4255, the amount brought forward was £2447 and balance of revenue account will be £lB6B. The report discloses a holding of 400,000 shares of 5s each in Harrietville Tronoh Ltd., a new gold firedging proposition in Victoria, AusItralia.
