RECOGNITION BY LEAGUE
POLISH GOVERNMENT IN FRANCE Received Oct. 29, 7.35 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 28. The Geneva correspondent of the British United Press says that Poland's protest to the League against the German and Russian division of Poland and cession of Vilna to Lithuania has been published, which is tantamount to recognition of the Polish Government established in France. NO RECOGNITION OF SOVIET OCCUPATION Received Oct. 29, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 28. The Exchange Telegraph's Lisbon correspondent says the Polish Legation has issued a statement protesting against the suggestion that Poland should renounce the Soviet-occupied territories. "The Polish or other Governments will not recognise a plebiscite carried out under foreign military occupation.” adds the Legation.
