TERRIBLE DEVASTATION IN P WARSAW 1 PLIGHT OF THE PEOPLE ' LONDON. Oct. 25. Gangs of prisoners and Jews are foiced tn clean up the streets of Warsaw. Typhoid is spreading and the ’water is unusuable. Russian Elections. The National Assembly of “West-! ern White Russia" meets in Bialystok- 1 on October 28 and the Assembly of “West Ukraine" meets in Lemberg on October 26. It is announced that 96 per cent of the registered voters participated in the White Russian elections and only two of 939 candidates failed to receive majorities. The percentage I of adverse voles in the remainder was never above 15 per cent. Eleven out ol I 1495 candidates in West Ukraine did not receive the necessary majority.!
