Dance and Euchre. To-night at the Aotea Hall, Putiki, a dance and euchre evening will be held. Good prizes and good enus'C ::ie promised. Bridge Party. Miss Jeffs. Nelson Street, recently entertained friends at a bridge party in honour of her guest. Miss Reno Elliot, of Palmerston North, who is leaving for Dannevirke to commence nursing training. Druids’ Hall Dance. Another of the popular Saturday evening dances at the Druids’ Hall vill be held to-night. This dance series is attracting excellent attendances, and patrons enjey the novelties and Monte Carlo dances which arc such a special feature. A good orchestra will supply the music. Sherry Party. Miss Dorothy Ellis entertained : friends at a sherry party in the Rutland Hotel lounge on Wednesday in honour of Miss Mick Flynn, whose wedding takes place to-day. The afternoon was in the form of a pantry’ party* and the guest of honour received many useful gifts. Miss Ellis received her guests in a smart black frock and Miss Flynn was also smartly frocked in black. Miss Flynn entertained friends and the women I buyers of the D.I.C. al the Rutland i Hotel last week.
