WEDDING

(OWIE—KENNEDY A wedding of interest in Paten Look place at the Knox Presbyterian I Church, Inglewood, on Saturday, SepI tember 30, when Alma Mary, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Kennedy, Ingiewood, was married to j Ala Mair Mackay, elder son of Mr. and ! Mrs. D. M. Cowie, Patea. The officiating minister was the Rev. E. Francis Farr. Patea, and the organist Mrs. J. Gibbs, Inglewood. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her lather, looked charming in a gown of ivory satin embossed crepe, made with a panel front and heart-shaped neckline with accordion pleated stand-up collar. The sleeves were light fitting with pointed wrist line full at the shoulder. Tiny buttons finished the back and the skirt was cut to form a train. The, veil of embossed illusion tulle was held with a coronet of orange blossom i and a beautiful bouquet of magnolias, camellias and arum lilies was carried. The bridesmaid was Miss Mary McLean, Inglewood, who wore a dress of azure blue embossed poult. The neck line was heart-shaped, the sleeves being short and puffed.
