APPEAL TO COMMUNITY
N.Z. CRIPPLED CHILDREN SOCIETY W ANGANUI BRANCH MEETS TO-NIGHT. To assist with the rehabilitation of disabled children to a new life and good citizenship is no mean endea-' vour, and the activities of the Wan- . ganui branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society are so well known that their aims are such as must appeal to all classes of the community. Those actively associated with the local branch of the society are issuing an appeal to the community for their whole-hearted and personal interest and support. Such work as this ' requires a community of interest, and hospitals, schools and colleges, business ; institutions and the lay community should co-operate in advancing the work. The attention of citizens of Wanganui is drawn to the fact that the annual meeting of the Wanganui branch of the Crippled Children Society is to be held in the Wanganui Jockey Club board-room to-night at 8 o’clock.
