MOTORIST INJURED
COLLISION WITH POLL ACCIDENT AT CASTI.EI LIFE Injuries to the head were received i by Mr. B. L. Spurdie, assistant sub- i editor on the Wanganui Herald, yes- . terday morning when he was driving i his light motor-car to Castlecliff. lie j was admitted to the Wanganui Public Hospital and is reported to be not serious. Mr. Spurdie, who was travelling to Castleclil’f to view the stranded liner, Port Bowen, was accompanied by his wife, who received minor cuts and bruises. Other occupants of the vehicle escaped without injury. The hospital reported last night that Mr. Spurdie was fairly comfortable.
