FIVE-YEAR-OLD GIRL KILLED

STRICK BY LORRY [ Per Pres* Asßc?int(on.] WELLINGTON, July 18. A five-year-old girl, Shirley Blackburn, of 12 Buckingham Street, Lyall Bay, was killed instantly when struck by a motor-lorry in Queen’s Drive at 2.45 p.m. to-day. The lorry was loaded with three yards of gravel. The child received very severe head injuries a wheel apparently passing over her.
