Mrs. C. Linwood. Wanganui, was a recent visitor to Nelson. Mrs. N. R. Wilson, Wanganui East, has left on a short visit to Auckland. Miss C. Black, Dunedin, is visiting Wanganui. * * * * Mrs. V/. J. Massey and Mrs. R. Walck were Hamilton visitors to Wanganui during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. E. Lloyd. St. John’s HUI. who have been staying in Wellington, have returned to Wanganui. Mrs. Williams, of Fort Moresby, wife of the Medical Health Authority of Papua, arrived on Saturday to spend several months in Wanganui. Mrs. P. S. Whitlock, Somme Parade, left for New Plynjouth yesterday to attend a conference of the Methodist Women's Missionary Union, to be field to-day. Recent Wanganui visitors to the Chateau Tongariro were Mr. and Mrs. C. Graham, Mr. H. G. Hullins, Mr. H. L. Tancred, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Blair. » * * * 1 Mrs. bl. W. Bond, of Gonville, who left some time ago to stay with her daughter, Mrs. G. Linfield (nee Miss Joan Broad), of Melbourne, arrives in Wellington on Friday. She will 'be accompanied by Mrs. Linfield.
