YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB
MANGAWEKA MEETING (Own Correspondent* MANGAWEKA, June 19. The monthly meeting of the Young Farmers’ Club was held on Monday evening, Mr. P. Green presiding over a very good attendance of members. After the usual business the chair- I man gave a report on the district j committee that he had attended. The report of the Young Farmers’ dance, which was held last month, showed a very satisfactory credit balance of over £lO. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was served and the members i played ping pong. EUCHRE EVENING i The first series of euchre evenings j in aid of the Anglican Church was I held in the Max Theatre with a very i good attendance.
