ADDITIONS AT BULLS RACECOURSE (Own Correspondent.) The Rangitikei Racing Club has decided to proceed as soon as possible with the alterations and additions to the stewards stand on the Bulls Racecourse, and Mr. R. Hood, of Palmerston North, has prepared plans for above. Mushrooms Plentiful. I Mushrooms are now plentiful in this j district, the recent light rains bring- ! ing them away strongly. More rain is i needed throughout the district, however, water being scarce and pastures still in need of moisture. Rangitikei Polo. The progress of the Rangitikei polo teams in the tourney at Feilding is being followed with great interest here, and large crowds went over to witness the games this week. Young Fanners’ Club. .As advertised, the annual general meeting of the Bulls District Young Farmers’ Club will be held this evening in Bulls, and youths and men from 14 to 30 are cordially invited to attend.
