AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW COMBINED 'Own Correspondent.) PATEA, March 21. Fine exhibits were shown in the Patea Methodist Church autumn flower show and bazaar on Tuesday, which was opened by the Mayor, Mr. E. F. Hemingway. Rev. R. Patchett welcomed the Mayor and Mayoress, Mrs. Patchett presenting the latter with a shoulder spray. Stalls were in charge of Mesdames Richards and i Moor (guild stall), S. Gunn and M. j Fairweather (cakes). O. Meuli and H. Neal and Miss Locker (vegetables), i Mesdames Herbert and Loney (Kakaramea stall). Butters, Weidenbohm, Parkinson, W. Bremer and E. Hamblyn (afternoon tea). Bible class (sweets). In the evening the Hawera Methodist choir rendered a variety programme and at the conclusion Rev. j Patchett thanked the Kakaramea and Patea Ladies’ Guilds, Mr. Stewart for installing a wireless, the judges, the Hawera choir aaid the public for their support.
