WANGANUI FRACKS

YESTERDAY MORNING’S WORK Weather conditions were ideal for training operations at Wanganui yesterday morning. The course proper with the poles about 15 feet out, was in use. The going was very hard. Entail was never full out over a mile, the last seven furlongs being done in 1.36. Submission (W. Rayner) and Homily (Latham) after trotting round the course, sprinted over half a mile in 51 l-ssec, the two-year-old doing best. Daisy Chain left five furlongs behind in 1.4. She is to race at Carterton on Saturday in the five-furlong event. Eurotas is not to fulfil his engagements at New Plymouth to-morrow, but he slipped over three furlongs in 38 l-ssec. Rehearsal is making good progress in his preparation. After doing a round he finished up with a fast two furlongs. Amigo was given four rounds of trotting exercise on the inner after breakfast. The Beau Pere gelding is engaged in the Thompson Handicap. Dynasty put in a rounl, sprinting up the 'straight. This youngster will not be seen out until Easter.
