NOTES FROM MELBOURNE Received March 6, 8 p.m. MELBOURNE, March 6. Marauder will not race again at the Flemington meeting, but will be prepared for the Sydney Cup. El Golea is unlikely to oppose Ajax in the C. M. Lloyd Stakes, and will have the next race in the Alister Clarke Stakes, at Moonee Valley, on March 20. El Golea is unlikely to visit Sydney. Disdain and Stretto showed fitness, sprinting five furlongs in Imin. 3sec. on the tan at Caulfield to-day.
