LEFT BOOK CLUB

Sir.—ln your issue of Saturday you mention that a branch of the T ‘Left Book Club” is to be formed in Wanganui. This club was founded in London with the object chiefly of circulating literature written by Socialists and Communists. There is, however, as a counterblast to this association. a “Right Book Club,” which circulates books written by moderates, not by extremists on either side. It would be as well if this was made known locally, in case many people in Wanganui are not aware of it.—l am, etc., "ANTI-SOCIALIST.”
