PLEA OF GUILTY JIADE, REMAND FOR INQUIRIES. 1 Per Press Association. J AUCKLAND, March 2. Arrested yesterday on the arrival of the Wanganella and charged with stowing away, Thomas Gerald Conley, aged 33, baker, lan Simpson, aged 21, clerk, and Valentine Howard McNamara, aged 32, labourer, pleaded guilty in the Police Court. On the application of the police, who said that it was desired to inquire further as to the characters of the trio, they were remanded until March 9 for sentence.
