COMMISSIONER OF POLICE TIPPED INTO RIVER
LAUNCH AND FERKY COLLIDE Received March 2. 10.40 p.m. SYDNEY, March 2. The Commissioner of Police was involved in an accident last night in the Hawkesbury River, when his launch, in which there were three occupants, collided with a vehicle ferry and sank. Commissioner Mackay and his friends were rescued after a quarter of an hour in the water.
