JEWS IN DANZIG
EFFECT OF NEW LAWS ENTIRE BANISHMENT AIMED AT WARSAW, Jan. 2. Under new laws practically all Jewish shops and business houses in Danzig were closed to-day. Jewish leaders have been warned that pogroms must be expected unless a thousand Jews leave the city this month. It is understood that Nazi authorities intend that the whole Jewish population of 5000 should be banished before the end of March.
