RECRUITING CAMPAIGN Received Jan. 4, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 4. The Minister for Defence (Mr. G. A. Street) has announced that the strength of the militia forces at the end of 1938 was 43,266 —an increase of more than 8000 since the recruiting campaign began.
