TWO WORLD SPEED RECORDS
ITALIAN PLANE’S ACHIEVEMENT BOMBER WITH FIVE-TON LOAD. Received aJn. 4, 5.5 p.m. ROME, Jan. 3. An Italian tri-motored bomber with a five-ton load established two world speed records for weight-carrying machines. The plane covered 1000 kilometres at an average of 253.3 miles an hour and 2000 kilometres at an average of 242.4 miles per hour.
