WARRENGATE ROAD ACCIDENT
MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL INURED WHEN HIS CAR OVERTURNED The death occurred in tne Wanganui Public Hospital last night, ot Mr. John Malcolm May, aged 75 years, as Ihe result of injuries received when h's car left the Warrengrxe Road and overturned at 5 p.m. on Su.ldav. The car was travelling through a gully with Mr. May as a passenger when the accident took place. Skidding on loose metal at the bottom, the vehicle plunged through a gorse fence and overturned down a bank. Mr. May received serious head injuries, and the other occupants of the car escaped unscathed. Mr. May leaves a widow, Clara Louisa May, of 202 Heads Road, Gonville, and a grown-up family.
