POLITICAL AMNESTY
HUNGARIAN PRISONERS MANY PARDONS GRANTED BY CZECHS Received Jan. 3, 5.5 p.m. PRAGUE, Jan. 2. In accordance with the CzechoHungarian agreement on December 23, M. Hacha has granted amnesty to all Hungarian subjects arrested for political crimes, including even armed attacks against the enforcement of Czech laws. The pardons are not extended to members of movements aiming at the overthrow of social order, but include hundreds of members of terrorist organisations, many of whom are Hungarian regular soldiers captured in recent disturbances. Hungary is granting amnesty to Czechs, but fewer are involved. Hungary sent a Note to Prague seriously objecting to the continued hostile propaganda on Slovak radios.
