MR. EDEN RETURNS
IMPRESSIONS OF AMERICAN VISIT LONDON, Dec. 22. Mr. Anthony Eden, former British Foreign Secretary, has returned from America. He again emphasised that his visit was non-political, and added that it was most important that Britain and America should understand each other. America, he said, was deeply interested in international affairs, and the public was iemarkably well informed. Mr. Eden visited the Foreign Office and gave the Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, an account of the impressions he formed on his visit.
