Glenn, Victoria Avenue, will spend Christmas at New Flymouth. Mr. and Mrs. F. K. Turnbull and family. Bell Street, are motoring to New Plymouth to-morrow and will spend the holidays there. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Small, Gonville, will spend Christmas at Pipiriki. Mr. and Mrs. R. Moore, Gonville, are going to Pipiriki for Christmas. I Mrs. McFadden and Miss Kathleen McFadden, Wicksteed Street, leave I to-morrow for Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. D. Ryall, Liverpool Street, will spend the holidays at Retaruke. Mrs. Colin Gardner, of Hawera, is visiting Wanganui. Miss E. Lyndon, St. John's Hill, is holidaying at Taihape. Mrs. F. E. Smith, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rouse, at Dunedin, is expected to return to Wanganui this week. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Kinsett, Gonville, left yesterday by car for Rotorua. • • • • Mr. and Mrs. E. Crosby, Nelson Street, left on Thursday to spend the school vacation at Tauranga. Mr. W. J. Boden, senior inspector of schools, and Mrs. Boden, left yesterday for Auckland, and will go on to Waiwera to-morrow. Mrs. G. H. Swan, Gonville, will have as her guests for Christmas, her daughters, Mrs. L. Duigan and Mrs. Alan Hogg, of Wellington. Mrs. Noel Cameron, Wanganui, left Auckland on Tuesday on an extended holiday in Australia. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Porteous have returned to Wanganui from a tour J of the North Island.
