BOBBY” LOCKE’S TOUR
CHANGE IN ITINERARY OMISSION OF WANGANUI NATURE OF ILLNESS Latest advice received concernin;; the indisposition of A. D. (Bobby) Locke, the South African golfer, is that he is still in the Gisborne Hospital suffering from stomach trouble; not a chill as was formerly thought. As a result of this his New Zealand itinerary has been slightly altered. He will now play at Miramar on Thursday, November 3. New Plymouth and Wanganui have been eliminated from his itinerary, but he hopes to play exhibition matches in these centres towards the end of his tour. His South Island itinerary is unchanged. Locke will play in the following North Island centres before proceeding south to the national championship meeting at the Balmacewon links, Dunedin, on November 10: Gisborne, Saturday, October 29; Hastings, Monday, October 31; Masterton, Tuesday, November 1; Palmerston North, Wednesday, November 2; Wellington, Thursday, November 3.
