“HOLIDAYS”
Mummy says when school breaks up I shall go away To a village by the sea For a holiday. There are lovely golden sands, Where I’ll play all day, Watching boats and fishing smacks Sailing in the bay. On a donkey if I'm good I shall have a ride, Galloping along the shore. With my legs astride. So I'd better start to pack For my holiday; Balls and bats and spades and pails I must take away.
