VIOLENCE IN JAMAICA
NEW OUTBREAK REPORTED. Received May 25, 5.5 p.m. KINGSTON, May 24. The police shot dead a woman and her young son during a new outbreak of violence. Dock and sanitary workers are on strike. A Labour leader named Bustamente was arrested. Sporadic fighting continues. Property losses are estimated at £20,000,000. More than a score of persons are in hospital.
