SPLENDID RAINS
NEW SLEUTH W ALES PASTORAL AREAS. Received May 25, 9.15 p.m. SYDNEY. May 25. Splendid rain has fallen in New Soulh Wales during the past 48 hours, especially benefiting the pastoral and wheat districts. The Weather Bureau expresses the opinion that the long drought has ended. The farming outlook is distinctly improved. The dairying districts received more rain than they required.
