Mr. W. J. Polson, who has a long period of leadership in the Farmers’ Union to his credit. His advocacy of an agricultural bank was one of the prominent subjects the union dealt with some years ago, an advocacy which resulted in Mr. Polson being sent overseas by the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates as a member of a delegation to enquire into and report upon agricultural banking.
