KEEN COMPETITION IN ALL SECTIONS. Received May 3, 9.40 p.m. SYDNEY, May 1 At the wool sales 6846 bales were offered and 6150 sold, also 788 privately. Shafty descriptions continued to rule in sellers’ favour, with keen competition in all sections of the trade. Greasy Merino realised to 18d per lb.
