COLONIAL SUGAR ALTERATIONS TO CONSTITUTION Received May 3. 9.40 p.m. STONEY, May 3. A special meeting ot the Colonial Sugar Company will be held on May 25 to consider alterations to the constitution, one proposal being to place married women on the same basis as other people with regard to share transfers. The present position is that shares cannot be transferred to a married woman except jointly with her husband. Another proposal will provide for one ordinary genera: meeting in the year, either in Major June, instead of May or November as at present. The directors will also seek approval to increase their total fees from £2750 to £5OOO a year.
