MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

LABOUR PARTY'S CAMPAIGN Members of the Labour Party contesting seats on the Wanganui City Council, Harbour, Hospital and Power Boards, are continuing their campaign this week. The candidates, who include Mr. W. J. Rogers, who is seeking re-election as Mayor, will address a meeting at Durie Hill to-night in the Presbyterian Hall.. To-morrow night the Labour candidates will concentrate on Wanganui East, in the Town Hall. On Wednesday night they will address two meetings, one at Aramoho in the Methodist Hall, and the other at Upper Aramoho, in the Presbyterian Hall. Both meetings will commence at 8 o'clock. On Thursday night the campaign will be carried to Keith Street, the speakers taking the platform at the Methodist Schoolroom.
