ENJOYABLE DANCE The opening of the 1938 season of the Makirikiri Golf Club was celebrated by a gay dance held last week in the Makirikiri Hall, which was decorated for the occasion with balloons, coloured streamers, autumn foliage and Virginia creeper. Supper was served bullet style, the tables being attractively arranged with bowls of dahlias, African marigolds and autumn tinted foliage. The many dancers present who spent a pleasant evening included Mesdames C. Hammond, wearing black taffeta; Richardson, frock in multi-striped effect; Wylds, flowered black crepon; P.
