i COLLEGIATE AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE ■ SUCCESSFUL INAUGURATION The promoters of the inter-schools* athletic sports meeting, in which lhe Wanganui Collegiate School and the Wanganui Technical College participated on Friday must have been gratified at the success which attended the fixture, and it is likely that it will become an annual gathering. The sports meeting was held on the Collegiate School grounds, which were rather heavy alter tne recent rains, and as a result, fast tones were not expected. In the aggiegate of points Collegiate School secure 105 i to Technical College’s 89i, but (here was no trophy attached, the sports being held solely to enable masters and pupils to make contact, under such condition* as real sportsmen enjoj. In the following list of results the names of individuals arc conspicuous by their absence, the idea being to emphasise the fact that it is the I school, not the individual representative, that counts.
