GRAND MILITARY DANCE

With so many khaki-clad troops in Wanganui during the camping period under canvas at the racecourse and also at Kaitoke, the decision to hold a grand military dance will be applauded. This dance is to be held in the Carlton Ballroom to-morrow night. Music will be provided by the Masqueraders’ Swing Band, and there will be special numbers in honour of the occasion. Special concessions on the admission charges will be granted troops In uniform. The occasion should be a memorable one for Wanganui, as it will be the first oppor, tunity of demonstrating appreciation of the presence of such a large contingent of visiting troops.
