SUSPENSION REDUCED
G. R. TATTERSALL WILL RIDE AT EASTER appeal of G. R. Tattersall against his suspension imposed at the Hawek's Bay Jockey Club's meeting was heard on Friday. The term ol one month was reduced to a fortnight and Tattersall will thus be able ti. ride at Easter.
Tattersall received the penalty for careless riding causing interference to Lady Furst in the juvenile event the first day. His mount Ecstatic bumped Lady Furst half-way down the straight. No doubt the appeal committee was influenced by the fact that Ecstatic was having only her second start, and like most green youngsters was inclined to bore out under pressure.
