The Department o£ Agriculture has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner for New Zealand dated April 8: Tallow: Moderate business has been done on spot at about Is below last week’s rates.
Hemp—Manila: Market quiet ana unchanged. Quotations nominal on the basis of £lB 15s to £l9 April-June shipment. Sisal: Market dull and easier; nominal on the basis of £l6 15s April-June shipment. New Zealand: Nothing to report.
