WATERSIDERS TO CONFER
MEETING IN WANGANUI 81-ANNUAL CONFERENCE The bi-annual conference of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union opens in Wanganui this morning at 10 o’clock at the City Council Chambers. Some 28 delegates from all parts of the Dominion will be presided over by Mr John Flood, of Lyttelton. His Worship, the Mayor of Wanganui (Mr W. J. Rogers) will accord the conference a welcome on behalf of the city, after which the conference will proceed to business. Reports will be supplied to the press from time to*
