WILSONS CEMENT. INTERIM DIVIDEND. The directors of Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, have declared an interim dividend of 41d a share, equal to 31 per cent. The distribution is for the half-year ended September 30 and is the first dividend declaration since the capital was raised to £600,000 by the issue of 600,000 10s shares following a revaluation of fixed assets. Last yea . - on a capital of £300,000 the company paid two dividends of 9d a share, making 15 per cent, per annum. The last business done in th ? shares on the Auckland Stock Exchange was on October 19 at 19s Bd. Since then the shares have weakened further and the present market level is around 17s 3d, showing a return of £4 7s per cent.
