PALESTINE UNREST
ARAB BAND SCATTERED HEAVILY MACHINE-GUNNED JERUSALEM, Nov. 17. Operations by three companies of British troops against an armed band of Arabs north of Sated concluded with the breaking up and dispersal of the remnants of the band of mounted Arabs who attempted to break through the ring of soldiers under cover of darkness. They were heavily machine-gunned. The exact casualties are not known, but the Arabs buried several bodies in the vicinity. A Jewish labourer was fatally shot and stabbed on the Plain of Esdracion.
