END IN SIGHT
THE BRUSSELS CONFERENCE ATTITUDE OF U.S.A. NO AIDING OF CHINA (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) Received Nov. 18, 9.10 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 17. The New York Times' Washington correspondent, in an exclusive article, says that according to official advices the Brussels Conference will terminate next Monday without a new move unless the situation materially changes in the meantime. The United States considers it is the best policy in the circumstances. It is understood that the conference will not recommend the Powers to aid China with supplies, or otherwise materially. The United States certainly does not intend to lead other Powers in the matter, because she has no legislative warrant for such action, and also it is believed that public opinion would not support such a policy. AUSTRIAN MILLIONAIRE DISSIPATED HIS FORTUNE VIENNA, Nov. 17. Mohammed Sahinganitch, once an Austrian millionaire, committed suicide with a golden bullet made from the last of his wealth. He had recklessly dissipated his fortune since his wife died from poisoning after a hairpin prick.
